TEMPO A:MUSE
In a recent fourth-year university project, our objective was to conceive, plan, and visualize a retail environment for a client who expressed interest in establishing a music shop “A:MUSE”. For this endeavour, we opted to design a custom-vinyl record store, aiming to cultivate a dark and evocative ambiance infused with retro elements to capture the desired vibe. Our approach involved conducting thorough research into contemporary trends and analysing relevant precedents to gain insight into the current market.
As a group, we meticulously compiled a comprehensive 36-page tender document, which encompassed detailed floor plans, sections, elevations, and specifications, as well as immersive 3D renders showcasing the envisioned space. This document served as a comprehensive presentation to effectively communicate our design concept and vision to the client.

We started off with a client and a vision of a music shop, and that was it! Our group started researching trends, precedents, and material boards to make a modern retail store.

Here we sketched general plans, before sketching floorplans, elevations, sections, and details in AutoCAD.

My main role in the group was to render, and some floorplans and sections were rendered with material textures, before it was thrown into SketchUp before finishing in TwinMotion to give our client visuals of our concept.
